For me, portraiture begins where the unspoken becomes visible.

I am drawn to what the body discloses - not through obvious expression, but through traces: subtle impulses, tension held in posture, the imprint of memory, shame, grief, or anger - experiences that often resist language.

My photographic practice is a curious and compassionate inquiry into the embodied self in relation to its surroundings. Rather than working towards a preconceived image, I respond to the conditions of each encounter and to whatever is present in the moment. The portrait unfolds through this exchange, becoming a living presence in its own right.

My interest lies less in the individual as a singular subject than in what is shared between us: the space between what is spoken and what remains unsaid, where emotion takes shape and something emerges that words can no longer hold. (1996 - 2026)
